We want you to know the value of your Farmingdale State College degree:

FSC Nationally Ranked in Graduate Earning Power

The potential earning power of Farmingdale State graduates is one of the highest in the nation among public colleges and universities, according to payscale.com, the web site which tracks salaries in a variety of industries. The College was ranked 88th in the recent survey and was only one of four SUNY institutions to place in the top 100, joining Stony Brook, Binghamton, and the University of Albany. Farmingdale ranked just below Mississippi State and just ahead of the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, with its graduates earning a starting median average of $46,100 and a mid-career median salary of $80,500.

"The earning power of our graduates is a tribute to the excellent faculty we have, the partnerships we have with regional businesses, our growing internship program, and the ability to shape our academic programs in ways that fully prepare our students for the job market," President Keen said. Our graduates are in demand, and we have great confidence that they will continue to be in demand."

Payscale.com based its rankings methodology on annual pay for Bachelors graduates without higher degrees. In the methodology, typical starting graduates have two years of experience; mid-career graduates have 15 years. For a full listing of the survey, please visit http://www.payscale.com/best-colleges/top-state-universities.asp.
